Women’s History Month Celebrated

Churchill Lecture
Thomas Churchill discusses his book Triumph Over Marcos: Filipino American Union Cannery Organizers, Their Assassination and the Trial That Followed on Thurs., March 16, noon at Manoa’s Moore 328. Jeff Peterson Performance
Windward CC’s Paliku Theatre features Grammy winner Jeff Peterson on Sat., March 18, 3 and 7 p.m. This concert showcases Peterson’s newest CD, Slack Key Jazz, a landmark recording that effortlessly joins slack key and jazz guitar styles for the first time. Ballet Folklorico de Filipinas
Ramon Obusan`s Ballet Folklorico de Filipinas performs The Mysterious and Unknown Rituals of the Philippines on Sat., March 18, 7:30 p.m. at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. Ballet Folklorico de Filipinas is a folk dance company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Manila. The company`s reputation has continued to grow, thanks to its exceptional artistic qualities, the competence of its creator Ramon Obusan and its untiring pursuit of ethnographic research.
