More Events Art at Kapi‘olani
Kapiʻolani features art works from the instructors of the Center Your Creativity summer classes at the Koa Gallery through Aug. 4. This year’s classes worked in ceramics, painting, assemblage and collage, encaustic painting, paper clay and stained glass. Kapiʻolani’s Ka‘Ikena dining room features prints and drawings by Dodie Warren through Aug. 21. Warren is the 2006 Koa Award winner for her lifetime of work in art and teaching. (808) 734-9375

Ceramics Open House
The East-West Ceramics Collaboration Open House takes place on Sun., July 29, 10 a.m. at the Manoa Art Building Ceramics Courtyard. The open house is an opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their works in progress. The East-West Ceramics Collaboration focuses on intercultural exchange in the ceramic arts.
