Forum Honoring Traditional Korean Values
  Universal Values for a Democratic Society--Nisei Veterans Endowed Forum Series. In celebration of the upcoming centennial of Korean immigration to the United States, this public forum will feature community leaders of Korean ancestry whose lives have been influenced by traditional Korean values. Speakers: Yong-ho Choe, Patricia Hamamoto, Donald Kim, Ronald Moon. 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Tuesday, December 10. Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i, 2454 S Beretania.
  The forum is open to the public. Korean lunch and beverage will be available for $7. Parking is available for $2 with validation at the JCCH parking garage. The deadline to RSVP and place a lunch order is Thursday, December 5. Spring 2003 Tuition Payment Deadline - Dec 20
  Tuition and fees for students registering December 2 to December 20, 2002 must be paid in full by Friday, December 20, 2002, 4:00 p.m. If full payment is not made by this date, your registration will be canceled. Payment must be RECEIVED in the Cashier’s Office by 4 p.m., December 20, 2002. Payment can be made with credit card via phone (296-6723); web (www.pae.hawaii.edu);mailed to UH Cashier's Office, 2600 Campus Rd,QLCSS 105, Honolulu, HI 96822-2205; or in person (QLCSS 105, 8:30 - 3:30).
  No campus mail. For students’ convenience, the Cashier’s Office will have extended window service hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the period December 16 - 20, 2002.
  Students should allow a minimum of 5 days for mail delivery to meet the payment deadline. Students should use the Mail-In Payment Remittance Form in the Schedule of Classes to mail in their payment. Campus mail and drop off payments are not accepted. Credit cards accepted: MasterCard, VISA, JCB or Diners Club.

Spring 2003 Faculty and Staff Tuition Waivers
  Eligible University of Hawaii employees (this does not apply to GAs) may enroll in credit courses in the University system and use a Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver to pay for a maximum of 6 credit hrs per semester.
  Employees should disregard the scheduled call-in registration time given by PA’E since Faculty/Staff Tuition Waivers are valid only for classes registered during the Late Registration Period January 13-27.
  Tuition and fees must be paid in full by Monday, January 27, 2003, 4:00 p.m.
  Employees must first apply for admission (submit a UH Admission Application Form to the Admissions Office) by the appropriate deadline and be admitted before registering for classes.
  Faculty and staff who register before the late registration period will be assessed all applicable tuition and fees. No refunds will be made.
  Employees must register by PA’E (telephone or web). University employees may select the payment option (telephone version only) to use a Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver and pay any remaining fees via PA’E.
  Tuition and fees must be paid in full by Monday, January 27, 2003, 4:00 p.m.

UH-Manoa Faculty Retreat
  Saturday, January 4, 10am through Monday, January 6, 1pm at St. Stephen's Center, Kane'ohe. Take time to nurture yourself as a teacher by joining faculty from across the Manoa campus to: share teaching techniques that work; stimulate creative problem solving; and, renew yourself professionally. This retreat is funded by UH Manoa Chancellor's Office. Food & lodging provided. There is no cost to attend. Registration is limited and not appropriate for part-time attendance.
