Waikiki Aquarium Announces Spring Activities

From January through May, the Waikiki Aquarium has activities, fieldtrips and classes for the whole family. Families can learn about Hawai‘i’s shorelines and coral reefs as they explore tide pools and reef flats, investigate aquarium reef life after dark, enjoy a special overnight with the aquarium director, or solve a marine life mystery. Opportunities for adults include field classes on Ka‘ena Point’s natural history, stingray tracking research and teacher workshops on conducting safe, productive shoreline fieldtrips.

The Waikiki Aquarium sponsors natural history study tours that visit the ocean’s most diverse environments, coral reefs. Discover Hawai‘i’s pristine reef wilderness, as well as other fascinating parts of the Pacific Ocean.

January aquarium activities include "Exploring the Reef at Night" Jan. 17, 7–9:30 p.m. and a Ka‘ena Point Coastal Hike, Jan. 19, 8 a.m.–3 p.m.
