Chinese Ceramic Exhibition
The Manoa Art Gallery presents Chinese Ceramics Today: Between Tradition
and Contemporary Expression through Feb. 13. More than 20 contemporary
Chinese artists present their works of Yixing teapots, ceramic tile vests and
abstract

Music, Traditional Instruments
ORA-J (Orchestra Asia-Japan) will perform on Mon., Jan. 26,

Orvis Auditorium. The visiting artists from Japan and China present contemporary

faculty and graduate students.

Strategy Lecture
Van Dempsey presents the lecture "Struggles, Strategy and Taking the Long
View: How Partnerships Can Advance the Agenda for Educational Renewal," on
Mon., Jan. 26, 6:30 p.m. at the Manoa Architecture Auditorium. Dempsey will
address issues of educational improvement in a democracy and areas in which
reforms have
proven especially challenging for elementary, secondary and higher education.
