Computer & Information Literacy (CIL)

Information technologies have become an essential part of our daily lives. In order to participate fully and effectively in today’s society, students need to develop basic competencies in using computers to locate, manage, and communicate information. For this reason, AA degree students at Windward Community College are required to successfully complete the Computer and Information Literacy (CIL) exam.

This requirement applies to:

  • Students who began attending WCC during the Fall 2003 semester or later.
  • Previous students returning to classes during the Fall 2003 semester or later following a break of at least one regular semester.
