Testing Your Website For Accessibility

WCAG 2.0 Compliance Checking

ITS would like to assist the UH community in ensuring that web content is WCAG 2.0 compliant and accessible to all. ITS provides UH campuses and departments with the licensed compliance checking software SortSite. Using this software UH faculty and staff may scan their web sites and/or pages for WCAG 2.0 compliance. Inclusive in scanning websites, a compliance report can be printed in order to manually fix issues that the software finds.

The software is located on a Windows 10 VM (virtual machine) and access is granted on a first come, first served basis. To request access, please fill out the reservation form.

Requests received, may take 1-2 business days to be processed. Once processed, you will receive instructions on how to access the the VM via Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection software, along with a unique password that will be sent to you via the UH Filedrop system.

For assistance using the software or connecting to the VM, please email itsada-scan@lists.hawaii.edu.
