Introduction to Medicare Course

This inaugural offering of this course Introduction to Medicare is a partnership with the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work Office of Public Health Studies, Department of Social Work, and the Hawaiʻi State Department of Health Executive on Aging (EOA). This course enables a hands-on understanding of Medicare through real world community engagement. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a nationally credentialed State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) volunteer certificate.
