The Bookstore system is responsible for the operations of all University of Hawai'i Bookstores and for the planning and direction for future developments and improvements. The Bookstore system provides overall policies and direction for all branch bookstores, including financial accounting, training, and technical support.
Branch bookstores are located at the Community College campuses and at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo. The stores provide textbooks, tradebooks, general supplies and insignia merchandise, but adapted to the size and special characteristics of the individual campuses. Each campus bookstore is responsible for maintaining a close working relationship with the various campus administrators, faculty and staff to ensure the timely delivery of textbooks, merchandise and services. All stores conduct book buy back twice a year during final exams.
