Transgender Legal Issues in Hawai`i & the Pacific

The Lambda Law Student Group is hosting a panel that will speak to transgender, transsexual, mahuwahine, and intersex legal issues in Hawai`i and the Pacific. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the University of Hawai`i William S. Richardson Law School in Classroom #2.

The panel will consist of law professor Hazel Beh, Hinaleimoana Kalu(Cultural Director of Halau Lokahi Public Charter School and former president of the Kulia Na Mamo Board), Amy Donahu (Pride at Work), and Tracy Ryan (Executive Director of Harm Reduction Hawai'i, Kulia Na Mamo Board of Directors).

After the panel, there will be a showing of a Rainbow Film Festival-sponsored film on fa`afafine culture in Samoa.
A light dinner will be served.
