Celebrate Earth Day at the University of Hawaii at Manoa: Building a Community of Sustainability

UH Manoa’s Environmental Center will host the 10th annual Earth Day Festival on April 20, 2011 and April 21, 2011 focusing on the theme "Building a Community of Sustainability."

The event kicks off on Wednesday, April 20, with campus awareness and culminates on Thursday, April 21, with sustainability workshops presented by local organizations like The Green House and Olomana Gardens, as well as unplugged live performances, an eco-Fashion Show, a film screening of Huliau and local, organic grinds.

Volunteers are still needed! Volunteers will have the amazing opportunity to network with companies and non-profits invovled in the growing sustainability market in Hawaii as well as with like-minded and energetic peers.
