8th Annual Community Health Fair

On Friday, January 4, 2013, from 12:00-3:00 p.m., the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) will be hosting a health fair to promote proactive health and wellness in our community. The event will be held on the grounds of our beautiful Kaka’ako campus, where organizations from across O’ahu will be coming together to provide community education, awareness, and support in a variety of areas in healthcare.

The theme this year is Kulia I Ka Nu’u, meaning “Strive for the Summit,” which represents the attitude towards personal health and wellness that we hope to inspire in those who attend. JABSOM student organizations and participating community organizations will be providing information, education and services focused on fostering healthy habits in all aspects of health of the mind, of the body, and of the spirit.

FREE - Blood Pressure & Glucose Checks
FREE - Tobacco Cessation Information

$10 - General Public
$5 - Grad Students, Faculty & Staff
