Part III 12:45pm-1:00pm - Q&A

Join us to learn about shortcuts and capabilities built-in to your Mac computer or iPad that you may not know about but you’ll be glad you found!

If you have a Mac laptop or an iPad, please feel free to bring either or both to make this “hands-on” learning. We will be using the latest versions of the operating systems so it’s best to have these installed on your laptop and/or iPad to follow along.

In this workshop, we will cover:

I. Introduction to Current Use of Apple Technology in Education

II. Cool things! iPad and Mac Treats

III. Question & Answer

During this session, we’ll explore features on the Mac and iPad that support students’ learning and provide you with helpful teaching tools. With the iPad and the Multi- Touch magic of iBooks textbooks, students and educators are no longer limited to static pictures to illustrate text. iBooks Author and iTunes U Course Manager make it easier than ever for you to share your ideas in a powerful new way. They allow your students to get a rich, immersive learning experience using the iTunes U app for iPad.

Join us for this interactive sharing. It’s an exciting time to be an educator!

***It is suggested that you bring your Mac laptop and/or iPad.
