Mānoa Campus, Shidler A-102 Add to Calendar

Two free presentations with evocative photos, stories, and facts about motorcycle and moped helmet safety will be offered on the UHM campus, sponsored by The Queen's Medical Center's Trauma Center, Hawaiʻi State Department of Transportation, with UHM's Commuter Services and Campus Security. Speakers include former patients who crashed with and without helmets.

Seating at each presentation is limited to the first 200 people who show legal proof of ridership (either a current Drivers License with Class 2 endorsement or Moped Registration Card) and who agree to complete a survey. Thirty audience members from each presentation will be chosen at random to receive free Scorpion helmets!

Registration required. Mandatory registration begins at 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Register early to get best picks of helmets, if selected as a winner.

Presentation times run from 4-5 p.m., and 6-7 p.m. Helmets will be given following presentations.

Must Bring: LEGAL proof of ridership, such as a valid Driver’s License showing Class 2 (Motorcycle and Scooter) endorsement, or Registration Card for your moped plus photo ID.
