Wikipedia & Other Forbidden Resources in the Classroom
April 3, 12:00pm - 1:15pm
Mānoa Campus, Kuykendall 106
This workshop will address the issue of information literacy and explore how Wikipedia
and other forbidden resources can have a place in the research process across the
curriculum.
Information Literacy is part of the General Education SLO’s and a large part of Manoa’s
accreditation requirements, yet questions arise daily across campus about how to
define, teach and access this critical component of our students’ educations. This
workshop brings modern and realistic perspectives regarding information literacy that
you can apply immediately in your courses.
