Wikipedia & Other Forbidden Resources in the Classroom

This workshop will address the issue of information literacy and explore how Wikipedia and other forbidden resources can have a place in the research process across the curriculum. Information Literacy is part of the General Education SLO’s and a large part of Manoa’s accreditation requirements, yet questions arise daily across campus about how to define, teach and access this critical component of our students’ educations.
