NoÊ»eau Peralto, Noelani Goodyear-KaÊ»Åpua and Hokulani K. Aikau explore diverse Kanaka Maoli approaches to research inquiries and knowledge production. Our intention is to enact Indigenous research practices developed out of ʻŌiwi HawaiÊ»i ontologies and epistemologies. This work is part of a larger collective project that brings Kanaka scholars from various disciplines and communities together to theorize the production of knowledge out of Indigenous frameworks and to develop a larger book project devoted to Kanaka Maoli methodologies.
