Lei Making & Lei Plants: a 3 session workshop

Brian Choy, deemed a master lei maker by his peers and fans, returns to Lyon Arboretum to teach this series of lei classes. The first class will focus on learning the wili method of lei making, the second class on haku with ti, and the last class on planting and maintaining a lei garden. The classes are taught as a successive series, enrollment includes all three classes. Students will be provided with a list of floral materials and supplies to bring for the class (no lei making equipment or floral material will be provided for the class) as learning how to find and grow lei materials is an essential step in creating lei. When registering please provide an email address. Class meets 3/5/16, 3/12/16 & 3/19/16. Class fee: $55.
