The Shidler College of Business Distinguished Seminar Series features "The Strength of Weak Ties: Social Networking Meets 21st Century Political Turmoil," by world-renowned sociologist Professor Mark Granovetter.
Granovetter is one of the most influential scholars on social network theory, economic sociology and the spread of information in social networks. His research on social online communities has led to the successful business model of FaceBook, LInkedIn and others.
