Playwriting Workshop with British Playwright Mark Ravenhill

British playwright, dramaturge, director, actor, show runner (Vicious) and journalist (The Guardian) Mark Ravenhill will be a guest artist at the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of HawaiÊ»i at MÄnoa this upcoming spring.
Ravenhill will be teaching a playwriting workshop/masterclass:
Date: April 3 – 7
Time: 5:00PM – 8:00PM
Location: Kennedy Theatre
For the playwriting workshop he will accept a maximum of 15 participants. The goal of this class is to further develop already existing local plays or play drafts.
Those interested in participating should submit their original, unpublished and unproduced work as well as a CV/resume to Tammy HailiÊ»Åpua Baker (tbaker@hawaii.edu) and​ Markus Wessendorf (wessendo@hawaii.edu) by February 15, 2017. Early admissions are strongly encouraged!
Ravenhill will also give a public talk moderated by UHM Theatre Professor Markus Wessendorf on Saturday, April 8, at 5:00pm.
Mark Ravenhill’s residency has been made possible with special funding from the Hawaiʻ​i State Legislature to the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of HawaiÊ»i at MÄnoa.
