Dr. Stephanie Feeney, Professor Emeritus from the College of Education at the University of HawaiÊ»i at MÄnoa explores what it means for an occupation to be a profession and the professional status of early childhood education. Her talk is timely in light of the NAEYC led Power to the Profession initiative, an effort to unify the field of early childhood education. Dr. Feeney invites early learning professionals to explore how we can do our best by demonstrating the ideals of professionals in our daily work with children and families.
