Intermediate students use Japanese for Busy People, Volume III to build on knowledge gained in Intermediate Japanese Conversation I through VI. In addition to the lessons, classes include language study through games, activities, demonstrations of Japanese culture, and practice with experienced Japanese language speakers.
Advanced students use the latest news from NHK, Japanese newspapers, and a variety teaching materials, developing Japanese speaking and listening skills as you focus on timely and interesting topics in Japan. In addition to the lessons, classes include language study through brushing up Japanese grammar for the JLPT and Japanese conversation practice with experienced Japanese native speakers.

Natsuko Tateishi, MA, has taught Japanese classes at the University of Hawai‘i since 1997.
Sueko Honda has taught Japanese language at Kaimuki Adult School, 2000-2007, and at The St. Andrew’s Schools, 2007-2016.
