Have you ever wondered why some students seem more motivated than others? Or why certain motivational strategies seem to work better for some students?
In this workshop, we will discuss how various factors affect student motivation and the impact that they can have on student learning. By providing a framework through which to consider student motivation, we will discuss instructional strategies to enhance student motivation.
Workshop participants will work on designing an activity for their course that explicitly targets improving student motivation.
Beverages will be provided.
Feel free to bring your own lunch.
