Aloha, The East-West Center’s student-led International Graduate Student Conference (IGSC) is excited to announce that we will host a Closing Panel: "Different Paths, Similar Trajectories: Grounding Language Revitalization in Community." This panel will bring together perspectives of young scholars and valued community members, embarking on revitalizing their indigenous languages through various methods according to their community needs. Please join us on February 13th (Saturday) at 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM Hawai‘i Standard Time via Zoom. Panel Title: "Different Paths, Similar Trajectories: Grounding Language Revitalization in Community" Purpose of the Panel: This panel will bring together perspectives of young scholars and valued community members from four different island communities, Hawaii, Taiwan, Jeju Island, and Guåhan, embarking on revitalizing their indigenous languages through various methods according to their community needs.   Panel Structure: - Introduction to the Panelist’s Work (20 min)  - Talk Story/Discussion Session (50 min)  - Q&A (20 min) Panelist Info: Andrew Gumataotao, Moderator - CHamoru Language (Fino’ Chamoru), Guåhan / Tuwaq Masud, Panelist - Kebalan Language (Kavalan), Taiwan / Frank E.
