Welina mai! Na Wahine 'o Lapa'au and the UHM Women's Center would like to invite you to our Mind Movement workshop on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 6pm-7pm. Featured Yogis, Amy Johnson, will be demonstrating an introduction to meditation with a focus on calming breathing exercises. Amy Johnson is a 200 hr Yoga Teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance. Amy trained at the Konalani Yoga Ashram in Kailua-Kona. Amy's other passion is circus arts. When she is not on her yoga mat, she is flying on her silk and teaching students aerial arts. Amy is a wife and Mom of four; two boys and two girls. She served 8 years in the Army National Guard and completed one tour of duty in Baghdad, Iraq OIF 2009-2010. Fitness has always been a healing outlet for Amy. She is determined to help others improve their lives and health through movement. We hope to help you find grounding, and learn new ways to meditate before the semester starts! *space is limited, so sign-up soon!
