Please join us for a one-day workshop on Objective Identification and Assessment of Hearing in Infants and Children to be held on Thursday December 8, 2022 at the John A. Burns School of Medicine of the University of Hawaii. The workshop offers up-to-date and practical information for anyone involved in hearing screening or assessment of hearing loss in children. Topics covered include: · The crosscheck principle in auditory assessment · Tympanometry and acoustic reflexes · Otoacoustic emissions (OAE) · Auditory brainstem response (ABR) · A step-by-step protocol for hearing screening of preschool and preschool children · Hands-on demonstrations of all techniques All lectures and the hands-on demonstration will be livestreamed for registrants who cannot attend the onsite workshop.
