Please join us for this month's NDPTC Third Thursday webinar on September 21st from 12 - 1 PM HST. Description: This month's virtual Third Thursday features an overview of DisasterAWARE, a multi-hazard early warning, hazard monitoring, and risk intelligence platform by the Pacific Disaster Center, followed by the tool's operational picture of the recent Maui wildfires. The Maui wildfires began on August 8, 2023, burning over 2,000 acres through the historic Lahaina town and have claimed 115 lives so far.
