FREE and OPEN to the Public – University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health, Department of Social Work: Ke Aʻo Mau Community Session – Reflecting on our Genealogies: Revealing our Pilina for Resilience & Wellness. Objectives: 1) Have a deeper understanding of 2 different types of trauma. 2) Have a deeper understanding of the Native Hawaiian concept of moʻokūʻauhau (genealogies). 3) Have a deeper understanding of how we can build systems of aloha. 4) Have a deeper understanding of pilina (relationship, connections).
