Bioengineering Research Symposium

The field of bioengineering is rapidly growing nationally and globally due to engineering technology advances that facilitate breakthroughs in medicine and biology. Bioengineering is currently the fastest growing occupation in the US. At UH Manoa, there is a Bioengineering cluster of twenty engineering and John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) faculty active in the areas of biodevices and bioinspired design, bioimaging, biomechanics, cellular and molecular engineering, and systems biology. This symposium will give an overview of Bioengineering cluster research and education activities, and provide a networking opportunity for future collaborations.
