This is an open ceramic studio for community people. Lab assistants will help teach the basics of preparing clay, the potter's wheel, and hand building techniques. Lab assistants are supervised by Instructors Paul Nash and Bryce Myers. We work in the Stoneware, Porcelain, Raku, and Pit fire processes. Very advanced students can work with lusters and china paints. For more information, contact Professor Paul Nash at 235-9323. Classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays for 6 weeks from 6 to 8 p.m. in Hale PÄlanakila 216. Course fee is $140 + $30 lab fee (payable to instructor).
