Kulanihakoi - Living Waters

March 10, 8:00pm - 10:00pm
Leeward Campus, Leeward Community College Theatre

An exploration of the many facets of water and its continuous relationship to the ocean, land and sky as seen through the eyes of contemporary native Hawaiians. Master kumu hula Hokulani Holt, Kealii Reichel, Pali Ahue and five emerging kumu hula are collaborating on this project which draws from epic Hawaiian myths.

In this time of global environmental issues regarding water stress, scarcity and land degradation these stories help us to remember universal lessons, without them humankind is destined to make mistakes that are irreversible.
