November 28, 4:30pm - 10:00pmMānoa Campus, Bachman Lawn
Celebrate LÄ KÅ«'oko'a (Independence Day) with Makawalu at our very first, Aloha 'Ä€ina concert! There's going to be music, crafts, prize giveaways, rocking the party, and much more.
Help us spread the word and make this a legendary celebration!
---- LÄ KÅ«'oko'a is Hawaiian Independence Day, established in the year 1843 by King Kauikeaouli Kamehameha III in celebration of the Hawaiian Nation State's international recognition by Great Britain and France.
This day is extremely significant in that it established the Hawaiian Kingdom as a recognized and equal State. For this very reason, Hawaiians can fight for the de-occupation of their country and the restoration of their Independence!
An independent Hawai'i is a pono Hawai'i. E mau ke ea o ka 'Ä€ina i ka pono!
