The Society of Women Engineers Collegiate Section at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (SWE-UH) is hosting its 5th Annual “Wow! That’s Engineering!” event. Designed to encourage girls to become more interested in careers in engineering, this outreach event honors the achievements of women and girls as they develop and discover the future through science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) related fields. The purpose of this event is to inspire and empower middle school girls (grades 6-8) through hands-on activities, project displays, industry exhibitions, and more! The event is open to all middle school students, parents, and educators.

Registration is required and lunch will be provided. Free transportation at select locations (see event flyer for more details). If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, speaker, or exhibitor at this outreach, please contact us via email.
