Central Banking in Canada

The speaker will talk about a brief history of the Bank of Canada, the Canadian central bank, its main functions and differences to the Federal Reserve Bank in U.S., and the monetary policy practice of Bank of Canada during the recent financial crisis, a.k.a. the great recession.
