Wiki Slideshows on Japan Powered by PechaKucha

The Center for Japanese Studies is pleased to announce Wiki Slideshows on Japan Powered by PechaKucha coming November 15 at 5:30pm in the Tokioka Room (Moore Hall 319).

This is a popular event where CJS graduate students and faculty are able to relate their Japan-related research in a relaxed atmosphere utilizing the PechaKucha format: a presentation style where a short lecture is given alongside 20 PowerPoint slides that are shown for 20 seconds each.

Presenters include: Dr. Robert Huey, Professor of Japanese Literature; Dr. Julie Iezzi, Professor of Theatre; Dr. Mark Levin, Professor of Law; Mr. Tomoki Kimura, MA Student in Japanese Literature; Mr. David Nguyen, PhD Student in Urban and Regional Planning; and Mr. James Utley, PhD Student in History.

The event is free and open to the public.
