The WCC Community Forum in Chemistry presents "Art Conservation and Preservation" with Seth Irwin, who will talk about the field of Art Conservation and discuss several of the challenges faced in preservation of paper artifacts in a library and archive environment. As an art conservationist, Seth Irwin tackles the forces that cause the deterioration of these important cultural objects: Paper based historical artifacts and artwork such as documents, books, photographs, and maps.
