Sustainable Living
What's Real
What's Happening-
What's the Big Picture
How it Affects your life and work
What you can do now.
A presentation on how the sustainability revolution changes everything
Presentation by Professor Lonnie Gamble
Director of Maharishi University of Management’s Sustainable Living Department, established 10 years ago as the first fully accredited BS degree in sustainable living in the US.
Professor Gamble is expanding his program and is here to explore bringing this cutting edge program to Hawaii.
Professor Gamble is an engineer, former Big Island farmer, ecovillage designer and developer, and educator.
Come learn about the developing field of Sustainable Living and Deep Sustainability. The sustainability revolution will affect everything people do. We’re in the beginning phase of a 50 to 100 year transition that will change the relationships of humans to each other and nature as radically as the information, industrial, and agricultural revolutions that preceded it.
Sustainable Living is a new academic discipline designed to give students the skills to help design, build, and maintain sustainable communities.
Hawaii deserves this.
