Salsa Night

Join your Campus Center Board Activities Council (CCB AC) and #TurnUpTheHeat for our first Salsa Night on Friday evening at the Campus Center Ballroom. Enjoy live Latin music provided by Rolando Sanchez, indulge in some authentic Latin cuisine, and learn to dance salsa.
Salsa lessons will be held during the first hour of the free event. Take unlimited pictures at the photo booth; UHM students may post Salsa Night pictures on Instagram for a chance to win gift cards.
UHM students, faculty and staff are invited to attend. Each UHM student or UHM employee may bring one non-UHM guest.

This event is brought to you by the CCB AC in cooperation with Marquis Johnson and La Raza Unida. Check out their booth at the event and get ready to channel your inner Latin dancer.
Event Details: Date: Friday, March 13, 2015 When: 8:00 to 11:30 p.m. (Salsa lessons during the first hour. Food is limited, so come early.) Who: Open to UHM students (bring your validated UHM IDs), and UHM faculty and staff (bring your UHM IDs). One outside guest is permitted per UHM student and UHM employee.
Instagram contest rules for UHM students: 1) Take a picture at Salsa Night (pictures from the photo booth will work). 2) Post the picture to your Instagram account and tag @uhm_activities_council and hashtag #TurnUpTheHeat. 3) UHM students may be entered for a chance to win a gift card. Winners will be announced at the end of the night. Must be following @uhm_activities_council and must be present to win.
