Biryani and Beer: a cooking class!
March 21, 9:30am - 12:30pmMānoa Campus, Lyon Arboretum, 3860 Manoa Rd.
Biryani is one of those dishes that is a must on any North Indian Menu and most foodies know that the beverage to wash down Biryani is chilled craft beer. Biryani and craft beer is a marriage made in heaven. Most cultures have a one-pot dish of rice and meat or vegetable cooked at ones leisure; Jambalaya from Louisiana, Paella from Spain, Polos from Persia, Biryani from India. Together we will learn to cook a perfect Biryani and pair it with an equally perfect craft beer. Please do join us for a spicy morning of fun, conversation and food. Hunger and thirst are the only two pre-requisites for this session.
Instructor: Vikrant Bhasin. Class size limited. $40 Class fee includes all supplies and recipes.
