BICSI Installer Level 2, Optical Fiber Training
November 6, 4:00pm - 8:00pmHonolulu Campus, 874 Dillingham Blvd
This course sets the groundwork for optical fiber-based structured cabling system installation. The course opens with an overview of fiber transmission principles, professionalism, life safety, and industry best practices, as related to fiber. A significant amount of course time will then be spent on installation, splicing, termination, testing, and retrofitting of optical fiber cable. Additional topics include pathways and spaces, firestopping, and an introduction to field coordination.
Tuition fees include disposable items used in the course, workbook, handouts, instructional materials, lab materials, equipment use, and one certification exam. (35 BICSI CECs)
