Free Speech at Manoa: What is the Role of the Public University?

The University of Hawaii at Manoa Campus Climate Committee encourages you to join us for our upcoming panel event "Free Speech at Manoa: What is the role of the public university?" Come hear from campus leaders on what makes Manoa unique as a public institution, and how free speech intersects with Manoa's mission, values and responsibilities.

The panel presentation will be held in the iLab from 12 noon until 1pm on Tuesday, March 12.

The panel will feature

  • Carrie Okinaga, UH General Counsel
  • John Osorio, Dean of HSHK
  • David Duffy, Professor of Botany

As announced at the Campus Climate Kick-Off in February, this is the first event in a series sponsored or co-sponsored by the Campus Climate Committee. Upcoming events include:
