"A Queer Response to Climate Change"

March 14, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Mānoa Campus, Ka Waiwai: 1110 University Ave, Honolulu, HI 96826

Comic and LGBTQ activist Peterson Toscano takes on the biggest issue of them all–global warming–and does so with humor, heart, and with a view to saving the humans. Drawing on his hilarious characters, Peterson makes connections between LGBTQ issues, environmental justice, and climate change. Filled with hope, Peterson will give you a positive vision of the future as he inspires you to take your role in it. Peterson Toscano, the inaugural Climate Change Communication and Inclusion resident scholar, is the host of "Citizen's Climate Radio" and "Climate Stew". Peterson takes a disarming approach to the serious worlds of gender, religion, and privilege in the climate change movement through one-person comedies and lively performance-lectures.
