The UHSO performs the culminating Spring 2019 Concert at John F. Kennedy Theater on the UH Manoa campus. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Selections include:

• the premiere of Ryan Blauvelt's "Root" (the winner of the 2018 Composition Competition)
• Puccini's moving finale to Suor Angelica, with master's student Maria Carmichael in the lead role
• Respighi's exciting Belkis - Queen of Sheba
