Seminar: Tangible Steps Towards Algorithmic Accountability
December 4, 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Online via Zoom
This talk will walk the audience through technical and strategic tools to build more accountable algorithms. Algorithmic bias has become more pervasive, however there are many methods and frameworks for engineers and researchers to implement during their model development lifecycle. This talk will give Data Scientists and Engineers tangible ways they can improve their model development life cycle to consider. These new frameworks will allow them to better document their data and incorporate reproducibility techniques.
