Manoa Heritage Center

November 9, 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Zoom

The sun has predictable patterns that influence the weather here on Earth. Understanding the sun’s position can determine its exposure throughout the year. This activity will help students understand the sun’s positioning and exposure throughout the year in their “spaces” in order to help them make energy conserving daily decisions, for example; planting, placement of furniture, water use, just to name a few. Using their sense of sight and feel, plus some modern-day technology, participants will begin their kilo journey to strengthen their sense of place. Join the Graduate Student Organization and Manoa Heritage Center November 9th at 3PM for a virtual tour and Kilo activity. RSVP using the link below or email
