Disability Studies Film Festival

The UH-Manoa Disability Studies Initiative is excited to announce its first Disability Studies Film Festival, Friday, September 30th from 10am - 12:30pm. The event is free and open to the public. It will be held virtually and in-person at the Kennedy Theatre on campus. We will be showing three short films: "The Interviewer," "My Disability Roadmap," and "Kū Kanaka/Stand Tall." We will also have special guest speakers Gerard O’Dwyer, the actor from “The Interviewer,” and Marlene Booth, the Director of Kū Kanaka. After our speakers present, there will be a Q&A session for the audience.
