October 19, 1:00pm - 2:00pm
West Oʻahu Campus, James & Abigail Campbell Library 2nd floor Exhibition Space

The Mostly Monthly Reading Series has been holding literature readings in partnership with the James & Abigail Campbell Library at the University of Hawaii @ West Oahu since 2013. This month we are lucky enough to feature Lawrence Ypil on Monday, 10/19. Lawrence is an award-winning poet and essayist whose work explores the intersection of text and image, and the role of material culture in the construction of cultural identity. In addition to his writing he is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. The event will feature Lawrence reading primarily reading from his book: The Experiment of the Tropics (2019) as well as time for a Q&A session.
