His explanations were very good.
Depends on major
I really appreciated the handouts. It was easier for me to see the material condensed into the important information that we needed to know. I also like that fact that we worked together on problems in class as a group. We had helped each other to understand concepts that we couldn't quite get.
Probability and Standard Deviation
I think that finding probabilities would be helpful for the future.
applying all the equations to real situations.
how the very basics were covered before going into the harder stuff
Class lecture notes
Although math is not my strong point. I learned a lot from each chapter.
As a biology major learning how to use Excel will be vital in my future career. Prior to this course, Excel was extremely difficult for me to use. Professor Karacaovali demonstrated how to use Excel in a simple, but effective manner.
The homework assignments helped me understand the material more. Thanks for explaining them.

not much
Honestly, all of them are valuable when looked at from a third person point of view, because statistics is something that happens and evaluated in our everyday life. So, it is important to at least have a common knowledge of the subject.
The beginning of the course started off a bit slow. A lot more content could've been easily covered in the amount of time.

24.   Other comments:
I honestly am not a fan of statistics, but I understand the reasoning of why it valuable to the degree requirement. But, if this means anything, I am taking him again, and would like to as many times possible, or as required :)
It was a very pleasant environmented class.
He was an excellent professor!
It would be a good idea to have students do even more group work and daily presenting
ta wasnt there hardly
Regarding what as spoken about in class recently, on of my previous professors ha password protected the lectures and notes he put on laulima and only gave the passwords to those who attended class regularly.
I'm glad I took this class with Professor Karacaovali. I learned a lot and it was a great experience.
I think you should make attendance mandatory if you want more people to come
Good job.
