8.   Which aspects of the course were most valuable?
Discussions, and writing assignments
Professor gave us very useful knowledge and information about my major!
The lectures about globalization of materials. Real life examples were most helpful
All good.
Writing assignment were great. It helped reinforce and apply the material that we learned in class to the reading that we were assigned to. It makes the material in class and readings go hand in hand.
Real life trade policy applications and ethical analysis were most valuable
Going over the essay questions.
broadening my knowledge of international trade policies. I know he is passionate about what he teaches and it shows in his enthusiasm for the subject. Professor Baybars is always available for his students for any matters we bring to him wether its for the class or economics related.
Incorporating the class into more realistic events. I like how Prof. is not like those other typical Prof., who just do lecture without even realizing the impact of their teaching on students learning development.
Looking at different perspectives of economists in regards to globalization.
The readings were interesting as well as the material we went over
lots of diverse views on modern economics versus the usual mundane and monotone defense of global capitalism
the presentations and the actual theory discussed in class

9.   Which aspects of the course were least valuable?
A lot of writing assignments
All good.
none
The powerpoints, as they hardly pertained to the writing assignments.
All parts were good
Although the power points are great for learning more about trade policy which correlates back to the books. I feel we should talk about the books little more other than after we complete the writing assignment.
I did not like the way the writing assignments were framed. We were looking for the answers in the book, I would rather do some extensive research paper and do quizzes to see if we are keeping up with the readings.
I wish to look at more recent stories in news
overall was good.

17.   Other comments:
All good.
Great professor. Cares about his students. Teaching style is great and makes sure that material taught in class is clear.
I enjoyed this class and the professor.
Good course. I would like to have done some more research project regarding trade and welfare. Possibility to start from the beginning to work on a research topic in trade and globalization and come up with an argument and support it with facts and historical background information. Not to say the course was lacking, I would prefer a more rigorous writing method to the course than questions about the authors.
valuable input into current global economics that is very much absent in the economics department here which seems to adhere uniformly to US political conservatism and disregards other views from around the globe.
i feel like we relied to much on the first book and discuss a lot on the other two or especially the last one ,Bhagwati. More real life discussions could have been made. ways to present ethics could have been explained an emphasized
