8.   Which aspects of the course were most valuable?
The handouts are excellent. It would help if we focus on the big picture in the first 15 minutes of the lecture (e.g.,principle equations). However, that is just individual style's of learning as I tend to miss the big picture sometimes.
Theoretical foundations
Problem sets, even though sometimes tedious, were a really good way to learn course material. Having frequent, short problem sets that encourage you to review material between each class helps to structure studying.
lecture note, exercises and class discussion.
Note taking structure kept my focus pretty well in class. Online resources being available were also very helpful, particularly when studying.

9.   Which aspects of the course were least valuable?
Nothing that I considered not valuable in this class.
none
Would be nice if there were more empirical exercises and\or the empirical exercises more in-depth. Perhaps substitute the midterm or final or both with more in-depth empirical paper replications and extensions?
We need more class discussion and one presentation from student might be good!
Too structured (limited class discussion) Too few examples from the real world.

18.   Other comments:
I LIKE the fact that there is a problem set due every class. I think the instructor takes this class seriously.
It's clear that Baybars is very committed to student learning. In terms of instructional quality I think he is by far the best econ professor.
He is a good professor and a good instructor. I like his teaching style.
Appreciate the focus on basics. But it would've been more helpful if we were required to read more papers or given more tools to work on research.
