12.   Do you have any additional comments about this course and/or instructor?
NA
Some kind of textbook or notes system would be handy as there are some formulas and conceptual things, that having handy, which would make doing some of the problems easier. Maybe more example problems.

One of the best professors I've had for an online class.
I thoroughly enjoyed taking my first economics class with Professor K. The course was very organized and easy to follow along. The instructor made himself available via email or the discussion board which eased my anxiety about this course being completely online. The course material was rather challenging but, the professor did an excellent job at breaking the material down so that I can understand it.

I liked the format of this class, wasn't too easy or too hard. very manageable.
This course is not a course that I would take for fun and I dread it long before it started. However, the instructor made the course exciting and easy to delve into. He provide good supporting materials to guide us through our learning. I felt like I was learning adequately and effectively. The instructor has good communication skills and he always answer my emails and my discussion inquiries. He provides a safe learning environment through his recorded lectures. What I really appreciate about the instructor is that he knows how hard this course may be for some students and he always offers support and help.

The course was structured well and easy to access.
Very great professor and class was manageable even though it was online.
In my opinion, I felt like this class was a very good one under the circumstances of COVID-19. One of the best/informative online classes that I have had this semester. Overall, excellent instructor.
Our professor did a wonderful job with the circumstances we were placed in. Very grateful for his desire to help us succeed and understanding of us facing a pandemic

15.   What were the positive and negative aspects of online learning in this class?
Sometimes it is harder to focus and remain interactive but at the same time, it helps with schedule flexibility.
Positive is that we are able to have enough time to fulfil the quizzes. Also, he is always giving us a way to raise our final grades. Negative is that we can't ask him straight since the videos are very very fast in some ways.
Positive, his videos were very informative.
online learning made it a little more difficult to comprehend some concepts
The asynchronous aspect meant that the class was forgiving in terms of its schedule and deadlines. Would like to have in-person classes so that questions can be asked in the moment.
Nothing wrong with the course. Well organized. Professor gives out good examples. Easy to understand. Cares about the Student. Would, take this class again.
I really loved that this class was fully online, and it helped me adjust to my easy schedule which was a blessing! The format of this class was very well organized even though it is fully online. I was able to follow all of the lectures, take notes, and do well on my weekly assignments. Overall, I had a positive experience and no negative experience at all.
Posted a lot of information to help the students better understand the class even though it was asynchronous and no negatives about this class
I loved that I could work on lectures throughout the week at my own pace and the recorded lectures were easy to follow and complete.
I think that the set up for this class was perfect for the subject. I also appreciated that the instructor was always present when we needed him.
I generally learn much better in person but this professor made it easy to understand what work we would be doing throughout the semester and had previously recorded lectures that were easy to access and understand. I was able to go at my own pace throughout the week which made it much easier to make a schedule for myself that I could follow.
The positives about online learning for this class is that it is very convenient. Students can still have a job and work while meeting the expectations for this course. The teacher also provides clear and concise instructions so that the class is easy to follow. The negatives about the course being online is that you don't have the opportunity to have face-to-face interactions with teachers and students.
You can do the work when you please, and the quizzes daily was easy to schedule
Positives were that I got to work at my own pace and all the information was readily available throughout the entire course for all of the sections.
I could watch lectures and other Mattel when I need and multiple times, so that was very helpful for me.
I can take the class or watch lectures whenever I wanted to, which was sooo helpful for me since I travel a lot and some other classes required me to wake up early for zoom class. I can't think about any negative aspects about online classes.
I was able to learn at my pace, but it is a little bit difficult to ask a question when I got a question.
The positive aspects of online learning in this class is that we had the chance to have our own set of pace as we work on our assignments and delve into the materials. The negative aspect is that the only communication would be through discussions and email. I would have wanted to have this in person so I could talk to my instructor and voice out my questions. However, the professor did answer as soon as possible so I really appreciated that.
The teacher was amazing but it was hard fully online.
Good class!
Everything was based on quizzes which made it easy for students to learn on their own by reading and learning then taking the test.
As for positive outcoomes, I would say that I could do my work on my own time and I did not need to attend any online zoom classes.
The positive aspects were his lectures because they still carried enough information for me to understand the class without having a zoom meeting. The negative aspects were none because I liked this class.
Your recorded lectures and resources are really helpful to study.
Positive - Very organized lectures and class Negative - Asynchronous quizzes and content, left little room for growth and deeper understanding.
Positive: Professor Baybar was an excellent professor. His lectures were easy to follow, and he gives questions in the middle of lecture. Sometimes it ends up being on our quizzes. No negative aspects.
I liked that everything was simple and working at our own pace. The lectures were also graphic in a very helpful way with the examples as well.
It was really easy to go through the material with the lectures posted on Laulima. The assignments were also easily accessible.
Great course! Great information
Positive: you set your own pace Negative: didn't like how the grade is made up of only the assignments and the final exam, although the questions seemed easy, the overall points were very low so sometimes you would get an average or below average grade.
The positive aspect of online learning is that you have one week to complete the assignment and watch the lesson video when you choose to. And the negative aspect is that there is a possibility that you might forget about the deadline if you don’t mark it down or do it when the assignment got posted.
The positives is the professor sets up everything each week for our notes to pass. Nothing really negative.
positives: could do it on your own time, challenging but doable
I liked that the class was asynchronous and completely online. Being that content and assignments had a flexible time frame I was able to get work done early. The way the assignments were structured allowed me to go back and look at any content that I may not have understood fully the first time around. There isn't much teacher student interactions, however it doesn't take anything away from the course.
He was a really good teacher and explained things well. He was also very helpful.I don't think there were any negatives to this class in all honesty.
A positive aspect of online learning in this class was we got to do learn the material on our own time, and had a week to finish the quizzes. A negative aspect was we would just watch videos of the material.
I enjoyed how the professor had played out each week making it easier to follow along as an online course.
positive: The course is very flexible. The professor has clear expectations of what he wants the students to do. The professor is easily accessible, despite the course being online asynchronous. negative: Nothing to note.
I learned a lot in this class about economics. This class worked out really well with my schedule because the assignments were due at the end of the week.
Professor Baybars did an excellent job making online lectures that were to the point, and assignment that matched up. I found the lectures helpful, as well as the handouts.
I liked that Professor Karacaovali was still able to help his students out even though everything was online. He was also able to teach the content through Youtube videos. I have no negative aspects of online learning for this class.
The positive aspect of this class was being able to do all of the work at my own pace throughout the semester. The lecture videos and handouts were also very informative. In my opinion, there were no negatives or concerns that I had for this class. This class was smooth throughout the semester.
Positive was it let me stay flexible with work during these trying times and negative is economics is a very hard subject to grasp online so asking questions would not receive on the spot answers.
The hardest part if if you have questions, but you can always contact the professor
It was really nice to have an asynchronous class because I was able to keep up with this on the weekends while I kept working on my other classes over the weekdays.
I wish I could have taken this class in person. The professor was really professional!
